I did an absolutely atrocious job of updating this blog in any shape or form in 2018. Outside of a post here or a comment there I did not do any serious blogging over the past year. Likewise I did very little reading or commenting on other blogs. But it was for good reasons, I promise.
For starters, I had a big Spring. I ended up teaching three different classes which include two different Advanced Placement subjects. I spent the semester bogged down in essays. But that wasn’t what fully consumed my life, no that happened on February 23rd, when I asked this perfect young lady to marry me and she said yes!
My Summer was pretty much a blur of wedding planning that seemed to be over before it began. Then, early Fall, we got hitched!
My goal for 2019 is to get back to regularly updating this blog and to keep up with the current historiography and teaching. I’ve got some catching up to do; but I’m also enjoying the married life so don’t hold your breath.
